King John was a play by the Human playwright William Shakespeare. In 2369 and 2370, several pages of this play from The Annotated Shakespeare were on display in Captain Jean-Luc Picard's ready room and quarters on the USS Enterprise-D. (TNG: "Man of the People" , "Rascals" , "Lower Decks" ) The identification of these pages was made by Jörg Hillebrand and Bernd Schneider for Ex Astris Scientia. [1]
