The Transalpine Floater is a floater native to Darwin IV. Their bodies are composed of a main gas bag at the front, trailing a vertical fin from the top, and a bony carapace from the rear. A large set of narrow wings hang on either side of the carapace, and two halteres are suspended under the gas bag.
