Rowan-G090 was a Spartan supersoldier with a mysterious and secretive background. It is known that he served as a squad leader, until the rest of his team was killed during the Fall of Reach. During the Loss of Hope, Rowan teamed-up with Riley-G659 and multiple other Spartans who have also been salvaged from the Fall of Reach, where he served as a leader until he embarked on a suicide-mission to destroy the Covenant Corvette that had annihilated the UNSC Beowulf. Due to the circumstances of his disappearance and his status as a Spartan, he was listed as MIA. He was among the few Spartan's whom could seriously be listed as missing in action, whom the title wasn't only bestowed to out of respect. It is believed that Rowan had ties with the ONI Special Operations and Reconnaissance Division.
