"Telephone" is a pop song written by Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins, Lady Gaga, LaShawn Daniels, Lazonate Franklin, Beyoncé Knowles, and produced by Darkchild Studios. The song serves as the second single off the The Fame Monster. Gaga originally wrote the song for The Pussycat Dolls, however, plans did not go through and Gaga recorded the song for herself featuring Beyoncé as a guest vocalist.
