Though this semi-automatic projectile weapon might seem out of place on a battlefield dominated by blaster weapons, the AA-8 Combat Shotgun remains a decidedly potent weapon... at close ranges at least. Its stubby, wide barrel certainly seems to have a bit of a threatening quality to it. Its five-shot magazine can load a wide variety of properly sized shells, including high density slugs, flechette or shot rounds, or conceivably even small high explosive projectiles.
