The Lesser Horn was one of the items placed in the Desert Ruins, before the Titan Horn. It allows the user to separate the sands blocking safe passage to the Titan Horn, as it carves a hole right through the sandstorm itself. Kratos uses the Lesser Horn to cross the Sandstorm, and reaches the Summoning Horn. After the sound waves of the horn disappear, the hole through the Sandstorm is enveloped in sand.
