The RG870RWZ has an American basswood body with a rosewood top and a maple and bubinga Wizard Premium neck with a 24-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with off-set dot inlays. Components include DiMarzio ibz pickups, a double locking tremolo tremolo bridge and a locking nut. The RG870QMZ was a similar model with a quilted maple top which was produced in 2011 and 2012. In the USA the RG870RWZ was sold exclusively by music retailer Sweetwater.
