He appears as a cockroach wearing a tuxedo coat with a white shirt front and a red bowtie. At one point, he goes up to Miss Bianca to bring her the newspaper about the kidnapped boy in Australia. Bianca needs to find Bernard, but Francois tells her that he'll look for him and inform him immediately. When he finds Bernard, he tries to give him the news, but Bernard tells Francois he's busy. He goes chasing after Bernard, saying he needs to understand. Francois knocks over a waiter bug in the process and falls to the floor. The other bugs then helps him up off the floor. Later, he becomes mentioned by Miss Bianca when Bernard get back at the table with a ring in his hand. He isn't seen again for the rest of the film.
