Raphael the Raven is a character from the Yoshi series who has also appeared in the Mario series. He is the leader of the Ravens who have been fighting with the Yoshi's for centuries. However, following the battle in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Raphael doesn't seem to have a problem with them anymore, as he is a friend of Yoshi in Tetris Attack. Raphael also appeared in Paper Mario, as a friendly character. In Super Smash Bros. Melee, Raphael the Raven appears as a trophy.
