He made his first attempts at comics at the age of ten, when he would write and illustrate stories with several endings, so the reader could choose how the story ended. He attended Sandymount High School and then went on to study art and play in bands for much of his 20s. He currently lives in Dublin with his wife Yvonne, Mila the cat and Fat-Ass the dwarf hamster, and works as an IT project manager.
