Pincus is the father of Herbie Popnecker, a quiet, fat boy. Pincus is a concerned parent because it seems his son will never become a man of action. He is clueless as to Herbie's superpowers. He constantly pushes Herbie into leaving the house but, berates him when he comes home having done seemingly nothing, though that is never really the case.
