The Monarchy of the Kingdom of Nalatia is the constitutional monarchy of the Kingdom of Nalatia. Queen Julia has reigned since 1 January 1998. She and her immediate family undertake various official, ceremonial and representational duties. Until January 2, 2012, the Monarch will be active in government as they have been since 31 December 1976 after the Constitution of Nalatia went into affect. While the Queen will still undertake ceremonial and representational duties, her ruling capabilities will be severely limited, with her taking no part in Parliament. She will continue to award honors, awards and titles to people deemed important to the people of Nalatia.
