The West Port Warehouse was a shipping warehouse in Hell's Kitchen that fell into disrepair during the 1940s and appeared to be abandoned. It was here that Michael Corleone fled New York on a ship after murdering Virgil Sollozzo and Police captain Mark McCluskey. In reality, the warehouse was not abandoned, as it was a secret base of operations for the Cuneo family, serving as a second Hub. It was managed by Artie Manzanero until 1948, when Sonny Corleone and Aldo Trapani brought down the racket and forced Artie to change allegiances.
