Takashi Yanase(やなせ たかし(柳瀬 嵩)Yanase Takashi, born 6 February 1919) is the Japanese creator of the anime series Anpanman. This character, like many popular manga heroes, is extremely popular with young children and is found on numerous products in Japan.
