The Star Guard is a powerful shield in Star Ocean and Star Ocean 2.In Star Ocean can be equipped to all the characters. It can be equipped by all fighter-type characters in Star ocean 2. Its specialty activates when the wearer is attacked physically by an enemy. It shoots out stars when this happens which damage enemies. While it is more powerful in the first Star Ocean it is still one of the best shields in both games.
