The unnamed Solicitor was on duty when Gail McIntyre was questioned at Weatherfield Police Station after her arrest on suspicion for the murder for her husband Joe. After Gail was charged at the end of the interview, the solicitor also represented her at the Magistrates Court for the formal indictment. Gail was remanded in custody pending a trial on 6th July. A bail hearing a few weeks later also went against her and she continued to be remanded in Redford Prison to await trial.
