Child's Play is a 2013 Horror film remake of the original 1988 motion picture of the same name The remake is produced by Michael Bay whose company Platinum Dunes acts as a distributor of the film and which has along with him been involved in the remakes of other horror classics such as The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Friday The 13th, A Nightmare On Elm Street and Hellraiser. The remake is written by Don Mancini and Eric Heisserer and directed by Don Mancini.
