Aimi was a young mutant from Fuji City, Japan. Smuggled out of the city on a freighter by her mutant father, widely believed to be Shiro Yoshida, AKA Sunfire, Aimi was to young to understand or accept the reasons for her deportation, and came to hate her father for his action, unaware that her removal was to stop her from being incarcerated in a mutant camp.
