Mastersmith Oskar Iach was a blacksmith of great skill. Iach originally forged weapons. However, his tone changed by the time he presented Piro Marella and Alma Negra to Akkhan. He believed he had used his skills to forge too many weapons, and hoped the shields would help the Crusaders bring mercy back to Sanctuary.. In his last moments, he could not help but laugh: ironically, he was killed by shield-bearing skeletons.
