Charles Brophy is a Canadian biologist who happened to be in the right time in the right place. In the beginning of Deception Point, he was kidnpped and was forced to send a message claiming to have discovered the meteorite with fossils. He was then put in a helicopter and pushed out of it from mid-air. He was then believed to run blindly in a storm with his dogs and died.
