John Cartwright (1861-1941) was the Regent of the Restored Kingdom of England from 1912? until near the end of the Eurasian War, when he declared himself King John II of England and Scots and I of Wales, Ireland, and the Netherlands Cartwright fought as a common soldier during the Third Global War, where he was shot in the leg during the Second Battle of Amsterdam. He nearly died of an infection, but went on to survive, due, he later claimed, to divine intervention. Cartwright walked with a limp the rest of his days.
