The USS Nevsky (NCC-71038) was an Galaxy-class Federation starship in service during the 24th century. The Nevsky was a heavy participant in the Dominion War, spending the first two-thirds of the war defending Andoria and later often fought along the front lines. During the early part of 2374, the Nevsky was the flagship of Starfleet's Eighth Fleet commanded by Admiral Orben Sel (Last Unicorn RPG: The Dominion War Sourcebook: The Fires of Armageddon). The Nevsky was named for St. Alexander Nevsky, a Russian military commander and statesman during the 13th century.
