Task Force Quickfire was one of five task forces of the New Republic Defense Fleet's Third Battle Group. During the Black Fleet Crisis, Quickfire was placed under the temporary command of the Fifth Battle Group. It served in General Etahn A'baht's plan that culminated in Operation Strong Hand.
