CR-8R, also referred to as "Crater," was a prim, masculine-programmed droid who belonged to the Graf family. He was built by Rhyssa Graf from a mash-up of different droid models, including the lower half of a Viper probe droid, the barrel-shaped shell of an astromech droid, and the head of an antique Mark IV architect droid.
