Hubert “Hubie” A. Rauterkus, 84, Cecil, passed away on Monday, Jan. 24, 2011, at Shawano. Hubert was born to the late Karl and Mary (Kloewer) Rauterkus on June 8, 1926, in Westphalia, IA. On June 28, 1950, he married Thelma Zimmerman. He then started farming, raising a family in the area and later started hauling bulk milk as the dairy industry started growing. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Thelma; an infant son, Duane; a son, Patrick; four brothers, Alfred, Herman, Leonard and Ray; two sisters, Marie and Rita. Hubert was the last of his siblings.
