The Yuuzhan Vong Invasion was a three-sided galactic conflict after the War of the Reconstructed Emperor. Most of the organizations in the Galaxy were part of the war. The many planets were devastated and were forced to be abandoned. The Galaxy took several years to rebuild what was lost. Many factions took part in the war, and took heavy casualties. The Yuuzhan Vong were repelled eventually, but some remained in the galaxy after the war.
