Lache is first introduced as he saves Jini from the orcs, at Yuria's request. It is later revealed Lache (a human) has fallen in love with Yuria (an elf). This forbidden tryst is what eventually leads Yuria's father to disown her, which indirectly results in Lache being captured by Daru. Lache is later brain-washed by Daru into fighting Sieg, Eir and Dainn. However, as he takes mortal wounds from the party, he regains his consciouness.
