Stoner metal band considered to have invented metal with their hit In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida. When recording the song, the lyrics were initially "In the garden of eden", but ended up as "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" due to the vocalist slurring his singing. The "garden of eden" part would be referenced in an episode of The Simpsons where Bart tries to pass off the song as a hymn by "I. Ron Butterfly". Homer comments that he and Marge "used to make out to it".
