The Burdette Sword was a Grayson-style katana that served as Burdette Steading's sword of state until William Fitzclarence, Steadholder Burdette, was killed in a duel by the Protector's champion, Honor Harrington, Steadholder Harrington. After Fitzclarence's death, the sword, as was customary on Grayson, was given to the victor, and was from then on known as the Harrington Sword. (HH5)
