Borashevsky was an Earth Alliance Senator representing the Russian Consortium. During EA President Morgan Clark's dissolution of the Earth Senate in 2260 Borashevsky was one of those holed up in the Senate building's offices, refusing to leave while attempting to get support from the military under the constitution. When this failed, Borashevsky urged citizens to surround the Senate in a living barrier.
