Before starting, the players have to place an initial wager, which can range between 20 and 2,000 potch and which will be the same for both. Both players then take turns rolling the die into the bowl. The first to roll a 1 wins. If any other number is rolled, the player must give twice the number of potch into the pool. Naturally, the first player who rolls a 1 takes all the potch, whereas if there is a draw between both players, the total money in the pool is split. Like in Chinchirorin, if a player casts the die outside of the bowl, it results in an immediate loss.
