He is the son of a widowed king whose sister Messina has orphaned the child and turned into a frog; however, he grows up to be human-sized and starts wearing clothes (shoes included), and he becomes a secret agent. Frederick is voiced by Ben Kingsley as an adult and by Ben's son Edmund as a child.
