Angus Phelps is a character on Shortland Street. He has Tourette's syndrome, which causes him to have uncontrolled spasms, and outbursts of 'skank' or 'hoe'. This is the reason Hunter calls him 'skankie'. Angus had Sophie McKay, Hunter's sister, as a girlfriend until they broke up when he found her too immature for him after he began university. Angus effectively left the show after the street racing incident with Sophie, Tuesday, Tane and Mu when his relationship with Sophie ended for good.
