Mass-synthesizer technology was an umbrella term used to describe machines that consumed and converted raw matter to construct any number of primitive or exotic devices. The scuttlers used a mass-synthesizer to tear apart the gas giant Haldora and use its material to construct a planet-sized gravitational receiver.
