Tom Hooper IV, great-grandson of industrialist tycoon Tom Hooper, was born on March 26, 1961 to Tom and Taylor Hooper at Londinium Protestant Hospital. Tom attended the Phillips Academy in his hometown, Charlestown, Forriedor, in the southern exurbs of Londinium. He graduated from Reynolds University with a B.A. in Education Policy in May 1979. A firm believer in his family's philanthropic values, he donated a sum of ten million intos to a trust fund promoting higher education for residents of inner cities, which led to the establishment of the Tom Hooper Institute for Public Policy in Koiwai.
