Developed by Izumi Ito in her time as ANBU, Genjutsu: Cloud has Izumi create an illusionary clone of herself to charge the opponent, which then explodes into a cloud that stays in the battle. This is partly to distract the opponent, but also serves to obscure vision on the battlefield. The cloud left behind by this technique can then be combined with other, more offensive jutsu, such as Lightning Release: Lightning Cloud.
