In an alternate timeline in which Khan Noonien Singh won the Eugenics Wars and Humanity underwent genetic engineering en masse, the Romulan Wars of the 2100s were a series of conflicts fought between the Khanate of Earth and the Romulan Star Empire during the mid 22nd century. At one point, Khan seduced and murdered a Romulan commander and was able to escape with her ship's cloaking device. The device was reverse engineered by the Khanate's greatest minds and all Earthfleet vessels were equipped with cloaking devices within several years.
