Mirumoto Mikio was a bushi of the Dragon Clan. He was appointed as a sentry guarding a road that did not seem to need guarding in the Togashi provinces. He was angry for so low station and expected to improve. In 1172 he was with Mirumoto Tomoyuki, an elder warrior of many battles, at least he said so. The Dark Oracle of Fire Chosai appeared killing Tomoyuki and grievously wounded Mikio. He was not killed, but Chosai expected the snow and the cold to do the work. After he was left appeared Kaelung who aided him to recover.
