Digital Revolutions Film Competition is a short-film competition organized by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT (bcs.org) in conjunction with Sheffield Doc/Fest (the biggest documentary film festival in Britain, sheffdocfest.com[citation needed] ) and Crossover (crossoverlabs.org). Amateur and professional film makers can create and enter 2-3 minute films about how digital technology impacts peoples' lives. The prize for the amateur category is £10,000, the prize for the professional category is £5,000. The amateur category is open to British residents aged 18 or over; the professional category is open to British residents 18 or over with a broadcast or theatrical credit, including anyone working in a paid capacity on a film or television project that has been broadcast on UK television
