The Bear-Cult is an organization of Alorn religious extremists. They believe in the reunification of the Alorn kingdoms, and there are chapters of the cult in every kingdom. They are a semi-militant organization that serves the High Priest of Belar. After the death of Torak the cult had a reemmergence, focusing their enmity on Ce'Nedra, the Tolnedran wife of the Overlord of the West. Under the leadership of Ulfgar the cult began the practice of branding new converts on the heel with a stylized bear-paw.
