Tourr is the most populous planet of the Rasq system, and the leader of the Tourr Imperium. With access to Antimatter engines, the planet rose to power during the first century BIE, establishing a trade sphere with nearby planets offering key minerals (including Yttrium). To consolidate control of these resources, and reduce mineral prices, Tourr launched the Assimilation Wars, establishing itself as an Empire. The attempt to control the prosperous industrial production on Xii led to the Great Interplanetary War. Today, the planet is home to over 15 billion, with Barq, the economic, financial, and industrial center, home to 3.2 billion.
