The Fishers were worshippers of a form of Christianity unique to the Underworld that flourished from approximately the 1st through 16th centuries. The Fishers became a major Stygian power as Europe was progressively Christianized. Their corruption was one of the major forces behind the creation of the Proclamation of Reason and the eventual formation of the Underworld's numerous Heretic sects.
