The 2014 Pacific hurricane season was an exceptionally active year of tropical cyclone formation in the Eastern Pacific Ocean. With 22 named storms developing, the season is regarded as the fourth-busiest Pacific hurricane season on record since reliable record-keeping began in 1949.
