Stammdeutsch (literally stem-based German, a working title) is, like Starckdeutsch and similar creations, a more synthetic form of what could have been modern-day German. Assume contemporary standard high German for anything that is not defined yet. Stammdeutsch primarily is a written language, so orthography is more fleshed out than is phonology.
