Vok was born on Shogun in 29 BBY. He was trained as a Mandalorian by surviving Death Watch soldiers, who had gone into hiding. He wore Bloodguard armor and became an expert fighter. He eventually left Shogun in an M22-T Krayt gunship fighter which he named the Crimson Claw. He served as a mercenary for many years until he ran into the Black Sun. He was impressed by the size of their operation and decided to join. He had the symbol of the Black sun tattooed over his right eye. Due to his fighting prowess he quickly rose through the ranks of the Black Sun, eventually becoming a bodyguard to the Falleen Vigo, Xist.
