The Lower-Sea Province was a region on the spice-producing planet of Kerev Doi. While flying his TIE fighter over the Lower-Sea Province, the TIE fighter pilot Thane Kyrell witnessed several emaciated Bodach'i slaves being led by stormtroopers. The mistreatment of these slaves, coupled with the Empire's destruction of Alderaan, convinced Kyrell to desert the Galactic Empire and later to join the Rebel Alliance.
