The front should have Lincoln facing right and the date at his right. On the rear, there should be the Lincoln Memorial, which has a ONE CENT on the bottom along with UNITED STATES OF AMERICA bowing above. E*Pluribus*Unum*. The rims are not reeded. The metallic content in the 1982 Cent is composed of higher zinc. Many variants exist, some with small and large dates/mintmarks.
