The 1976 Dixie 500 was a Winston Cup (now Nextel Cup) event held at Atlanta Motor Speedway on November 6, 1976. Dave Marcis won his third and final race of the year, leading 224 of the 328 laps in route to a two-carlength victory over David Pearson.
