The story takes place on Coruscant where prisoners of Senators and Bureaucrats that stood against the Empire in defiance, were taken to the Imperial Judiciary Central Detention Center under the orders of Emperor Palpatine. After Fang Zar and Garm Bel Iblis were released with no evidence, the prisoners were escorted to a large detention room where they encountered Darth Vader with his lightsaber ignited. Inside the Senate Annex, Palpatine receives contact from his apprentice that the execution was done. Palpatine orders his apprentice to continue his search for Jedi Knight Melik Galerha, who fled the Jedi Temple from Order 66.
