A code dealer was an information broker who could supply the passcodes to access certain restricted NewsNet channels. The channels were usually of an illegal nature, and the codes were only supplied to trusted individuals, or those that had been recommended to the code dealer by an existing customer. The infochant ConJob on Tanquilla Beach was a code dealer who could supply the codes to access Cynabar's InfoNet.
